From Chapter 2:1-18 of the study of the Book of Esther (אֶסְתֵּר), brother Gideon Levytam directs us to the supernatural way in which a young Jewish girl named Esther, became the wife of Ahasuerus king of Persia, instead of Vashti the deposed queen. King Ahasuerus appointed a gathering of all the fair young virgins in his kingdom in order to choose a new queen for himself. Esther, who came before king Ahasuerus, was loved by him above all the other women who came before him. By Divine providence Esther obtained grace and favour from King Ahasuerus, who set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.
